London has long been regarded as the de facto centre of excellence for marine insurance and a major focus for the placement of Marine and Energy risks Generic has been formed to take advantage of the changing insurance market for marine and energy risks.
Some of the most experienced Marine and Energy underwriters in the London market will be employed as consultants by Generic to work with the Generic underwriting team to access their long established network of clients and brokers. The emphasis will be on underwriting that business which has had a long personal association with the consultant and has proven levels of profitability.
